On the occasion of the state of quarantine imposed by the Italian government, in order to prevent this period from passing quickly, some artists and friends were invited to send a textual contribution by e-mail, and a postcard sent by ordinary mail. All material is presented daily in the online platforms of the GRGLT Gallery, and subsequently compiled into a publication and/or exhibition.

Psychology and anthropology regard ‘Magical Thinking’ as the description of illogical actions to certain causes, without any empirical evidence. This phenomenon becomes relevant when the subject thinks that his or her thoughts might have consequences for the outside world. Such consequences may come from his own actions or from belief in supernatural forces. Magical thinking’ is adopted to avert the occurrence of a situation or try to change its consequences, such as wearing an amulet to ward off certain fears.
